CEFD Memotec Netperformer SDM8400

The Memotec Netperformer SDM8400 version is an SNMP connector intended to communicate with SDM8400 Netperformer devices.

About

An SNMP connection is used in order to successfully retrieve and configure the device's information.

Connections

SNMP Connection - Main

This connector uses a Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) connection and requires the following input during element creation:

SNMP CONNECTION:

  • IP address/host: The polling IP of the device.

SNMP Settings:

  • IP port: The IP port of the device.
  • Get community string: The community string used when reading values from the device (default: public).
  • Set community string: The community string used when setting values on the device (default: public).

Configuration - Slots Channels

  • VCE/WAN Table provides an overview of all available Slots Channels on the Netperformer unit and it's configured Protocol and Timeslot.

Configuration - Ports

This page provides the Netperformer base unit ports. In Port CSL and Port 1 page buttons after selecting which protocol should be used you must go to the respective protocol page button. Some parameters will be only available if the respective option is active. Otherwise the parameter will be assigned with Not-Configured.

Alarms

The Alarms menu shows all current alarms. Clear Alarms and Clear Error LEDs buttons are available to clear them.
