This protocol can be used to monitor and control any CPI V2C6964A4 device. A TCP/IP connection is used to successfully retrieve and configure the settings of the device.

Installation and configuration

Creation

This connector uses a serial connection and requires the following input during element creation:

SERIAL Connection:

  • Type of port: The type of port of the connection, by default TCP/IP.
  • IP address/host: The polling IP of the device, e.g., 10.1.48.70.
  • IP port: The IP port of the connection device, e.g., 4012.
  • Bus address: The device's address, e.g., A.

Usage

General

This page displays parameters that can be used for the general configuration of the device, such as RF Output Power 1 and 2, Helix Voltage, Helix Current, etc.

The RF Limits page button displays the Alarm and Fault Low and High Trip-Point settings.

Status

This page displays an overview of all the status settings of the device, such as the Summary Status, ALC Status, RF Inhibited, etc.
