About

The 7882DM-SAT is a complete hardware-based solution for demodulating digital DVB-S/S2/S2X satellite signals. The base model has quad RF inputs with one demodulator. Its software can be upgraded to utilize built-in quad demodulators. It features a modular form-factor, and multiple inputs and multiple demodulators per card, as well as four RF input ports, four ASI ports (configurable as inputs or outputs), one IP (RJ-45) port and two conditional access slots.

This connector is used by DVE child elements that are automatically created by the parent connector Evertz 7x00 General Platform, from version 1.0.4.5 onwards.

How to Use

The element created with this connector consists of the following data pages:

  • General: Displays the device Status and Name and allows you to perform a Reboot and a Factory Reset.
  • Input: Displays information about the RF Tune, the IP Input and the ASI Configuration.
  • TS Mapping: Shows the TS Input Mapping and Status.
  • Descramble: Displays information about the CA Modules and the BISS Descramble.
  • Output: Contains information about the TS Output Status and the TS IP Output Control.
  • System: Displays system information such as the Card Serial Number and the Product Features.
