How to use
The Synamedia VSM connector maps all monitored appliances or software instances of for instance DCM, vDCM, etc. into the VSM topology views.
The element shows all alarms on the Messages page, and the Overview page provides an immediate overview of the device alarms present in the topology, so that you can visually correlate alarms on channels that are present on the platform.
Service configuration and lineup management are available on the Lineups and Service Flow pages. These can be used by service providers and operators who manage linear-live content that must be processed to fit into the appropriate delivery network.
The Resources page contains information related to DCM resources (e.g., name, software version, model, responding, alarm and device states, etc.).
License information related to availability and usage per resource and function is available under License Usage, License Function Usage, and License Central.
