Tandberg MEM General
The Tandberg MEM General is a Multiplex Element Manager, which controls Evolution 5000 compression equipment.
About
The connector polls the device via SNMPv2 calls. Traps are not implemented.

Installation and configuration
Creation
SNMP connection
This connector uses a Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) connection and requires the following input during element creation:
SNMP CONNECTION:
- IP address/host: The polling IP of the device.
SNMP Settings:
- Port number: The port of the connected device, by default 161.
- Get community string: The community string used when reading values from the device, by default public.
- Set community string: The community string used when setting values on the device, by default private.

General
This page contains general information about the device, such as the Product Name, MIB version and Administrative State.
Streams
This page contains the Streams Table, with information such as the Multiplexer Stream Output and Active Multipler.
Mux
This page contains the Mux Table, with information such as the Health Status, Communications Status and Availability.
Modulator
This page contains the Modulator Table, with information such as the Health Status, Communications Status and Availability.
Encoder
This page contains the Encoder Table, with information such as the Type, Health Status, Availability and Description.
