ThinkAnalytics Recommendation Engine
With this connector, it is possible to monitor logging files.
About
This connector retrieves logging files, parses them, and gathers the extracted information into several tables for monitoring purposes via an SFTP connection. Recommendation information is also retrieved via an HTTP connection and stored in a table.
The connector can work in 2 modes: Application and Reporting. The information retrieved in each of these modes and the way to configure these modes are discussed below.
Installation and configuration
Creation
This connector uses an HTTP connection and requires the following input during element creation:
HTTP CONNECTION:
- IP address/host: The polling IP or URL of the destination, e.g., 10.67.0.34.
- IP port: The IP port of the destination, e.g., 8080.
- Bus address: To be able to retrieve the TA Application information, fill in the value ByPassProxy. Otherwise, if you connect to a TA Reporting device, set the value reporting.
