Starting a sync of the DataMiner database and the CMDB

In the Asset Manager module, if you want to start an ad hoc synchronization of the DataMiner database and the CMDB, click the Sync Now button.

Alternatively, to do a one-way synchronization, you can click:

  • Sync now DMA => DB to copy data from the DMA to the database, or

  • Sync now DB => DMA to copy data from the database to the DMA.

Note

When you start a synchronization, an information event about this action will be generated in the Alarm Console.
