Serial connections

For serial connections, you can specify the following connection settings while creating or editing an element:

• Baud rate: The baudrate specified in the manual of the device, e.g. 9600.

• Databits: The databits specified in the manual of the device, e.g. 7.

• Stopbits: The stopbits specified in the manual of the device, e.g. 1.

• Parity: The parity specified in the manual of the device, e.g. No.

• Flow control: The flow control specified in the manual of the device, e.g. No.

• Serial port: The serial port of the DMA that should be used. If only one port is available, it is automatically selected.
