Linking a shape to a dashboard component

From DataMiner 10.0.8 onwards, it is possible to link a shape to a component from the cross-platform Dashboards app.

To do so:

1. In the Dashboards app, open the dashboard that contains the component you want to embed.

2. Click the Start editing button in the top-right corner.

3. Right-click the component and select Copy embed URL.

4. In Visio, add a shape data field of type Link to the shape you want to link the dashboard component to and set its value to the URL you just copied.
