Installing the Taskbar Utility

The DataMiner Taskbar Utility is installed automatically on a DataMiner Agent server along with recent versions of DataMiner.

Accessing the Taskbar Utility functionalities

If the application is not running, open Skyline Taskbar Utility from the Windows Start menu, or go to C:\Program Files\Skyline Communications\Skyline Taskbar Utility and double-click SLTaskbarUtility.exe to start the application.

Note

The application can be set to run automatically at startup.

If the application is running:

  • Right-click the DataMiner Taskbar Utility system tray icon to access its functions. The icon has the shape of the DataMiner logo.
Note

It is also possible to run an upgrade or restore a backup with the Taskbar Utility by directly double-clicking the upgrade or backup package.
