Taskbar Utility command line options
It is possible to make the SLTaskbarUtility perform actions using the command prompt, without any further user interaction.
To do so:
Open a Command Prompt window.
Navigate to the SLTaskbarUtility installation folder.
For example:
cd c:\Program Files (x86)\Skyline Communications\Skyline Taskbar Utility
Enter
start /wait SLTaskbarUtility.exe
, followed by one of the commands and the necessary arguments listed under List of possible commands.start /wait SLTaskbarUtility.exe [command] [arguments]
"start /wait" is used to await the return code of the command, which can be checked using the %errorlevel% environment variable.
Note
It is still possible to open the SLTaskbarUtility user interface by either double-clicking a file with a DataMiner extension (e.g. dmupgrade, dmbackup, etc.) or entering the path to such a file in a Command Prompt window.
