Initializing the IP failed for x. y (hr = z), please check the IP-settings

In an error message of this type:

• "x" is the element name.
• "y" is a descriptive text with the reason of the failure.
• "z" is a hexadecimal error code.

Symptom

Though element "x" is active, it cannot be reached via its virtual IP address (SNMP northbound).

Possible cause

The virtual IP address of element "x" could not be created.

Resolution

Check the IP settings of the server.
