Satellite Scheduling

The Satellite Scheduling app allows you to browse, book, and manage transponder capacity across your satellite fleet on a transponder timeline.

The app uses the transponder capacity configured in the Satellite Inventory app and adds specialized functionality for booking transponder resources from the MediaOps Plan Scheduling app.

With the Satellite Scheduling app, you can:

• View all transponder slots and their bookings on a timeline. Color coding shows which transponder capacity is booked by each job.

• View the slots available at any point in time based on the applicable permanent or temporary transponder plans. You can also book a slot across two consecutive plans if their slot configurations are compatible.

• Scroll vertically and horizontally using the keyboard and mouse. Use Alt + Scroll to scroll vertically and Ctrl + Scroll to scroll horizontally.

• Select an available transponder slot on the dedicated Slot Picker page. The available slots are filtered by satellite and transponder, based on the capabilities selected in the MediaOps Plan Scheduling app.

• Navigate to the corresponding transponder configuration panel in the Satellite Inventory app by clicking the transponder name.
